Perelman Performing Arts Center will hold its second annual Family Benefit on Sunday, December 13, built around the 3pm performance of A Christmas Carol, with Spotify as this year’s partner.
The day opens at 12:30pm. VIP guests start with a lunch buffet and a hot cocoa bar at Metropolis by Marcus Samuelsson, then move on to crafts led by local artists: face painting, paper lanterns and snow globes. A candy bar and holiday photo spots are set up, and singer Nicolas King performs on the Lobby Stage before curtain.
After the show, a free set on the Lobby Stage begins at 5pm, programmed with Spotify. At 5:15pm families can meet Andy Karl, who plays Ebenezer Scrooge, and other members of the cast. Santa Claus is also billed to appear.
The benefit is chaired by Kara Barnett, Claire Danes and Hugh Dancy, and Dustee Jenkins, Spotify’s chief public affairs officer. Proceeds support PAC NYC’s artistic and civic programs.
“With the incredible support of Spotify, we are thrilled to return this year with an even bigger celebration,” said Khady Kamara Nunez, executive director of PAC NYC.
Matthew Warchus’s Old Vic production, adapted by Jack Thorne, returns to PAC NYC this season. Previews begin Friday, November 20, opening night is Thursday, December 3, and the limited run ends Sunday, January 3, 2027. The rest of this year’s company is in our cast announcement.
Benefit tickets and sponsorship packages are sold by PAC NYC, at 251 Fulton Street, and by phone at 212-266-3000. Tickets for regular performances of A Christmas Carol are on sale now.
