The Old Vic’s A Christmas Carol now has its full New York company: seventeen actors will join Andy Karl’s Ebenezer Scrooge when the production returns to the Perelman Performing Arts Center for a second holiday season.
Previews begin on Friday, November 20, 2026, opening night is Thursday, December 3, and the limited engagement ends on Sunday, January 3, 2027. Karl’s casting was announced in September; the rest of the company follows now.
Jesse Aaronson (Leopoldstadt) is Bob Cratchit, with Grace Yoo (Hadestown) as Mrs. Cratchit. Mikey Fabisch (Dear Evan Hansen) plays Young Ebenezer and Joe Joseph (The Fear of 13) is Fred. Chris Hoch, back from the first PAC NYC season and also of Jagged Little Pill, doubles as Father and Marley.
Tamika Lawrence (Caroline, or Change) takes the Ghost of Christmas Present and Mrs. Fezziwig, opposite Evan Harrington, a previous A Christmas Carol company member, as Fezziwig. Anne L. Nathan (Funny Girl, Once) is the Ghost of Christmas Past. Anna Roman (Girl, Interrupted) plays Belle, Madalynn Mathews, another returner from PAC NYC whose credits include Galileo, plays Jess, and Madison Mosley (Beetlejuice) is Little Fan.
Two actors share Tiny Tim: Micah Fay Lupin, who was in last season’s PAC NYC company, and Titan Cody Love, making a stage debut. Harry Thornton, from the US tour of A Christmas Carol, plays Ferdy and George, and Matthew Whennell-Clark (Groundhog Day) is Nicholas. The swings are Felix Torrez-Ponce (Sweeney Todd) and Celia Mei Rubin, another PAC NYC returner whose credits include Life of Pi; Rubin is also the associate movement director.
The staging is the one Jack Thorne adapted and Matthew Warchus conceived and directed for the Old Vic, where it opened in 2017 and this year plays its tenth consecutive season. A limited Broadway run in fall 2019 took five Tony Awards, among them Best Original Score and every design category. Thomas Caruso is co-director for PAC NYC.
The creative team also includes Rob Howell (sets and costumes), Hugh Vanstone (lighting), Simon Baker (sound), Christopher Nightingale (composer and arranger), Lizzi Gee (movement), Campbell Young (wigs, hair and makeup), Adam Rothenberg (music director), David Lai (music coordinator) and Andrew Wade (voice and dialect). Casting is by Jim Carnahan, Jason Thinger and Rachael Jimenez, and Jo Fernandez is production stage manager.
The New York return was made possible by Citadel founder and CEO Kenneth C. Griffin through his civic initiative, Griffin Catalyst. PAC NYC will once again collect donations at every performance, with audiences invited to support Hunger Free America, the nonpartisan national nonprofit working to end hunger in the United States.
All performances are at 6 World Trade Center, 251 Fulton Street. PAC NYC runs $30 ticket programs for audiences under 30, responders and educators, student discounts of up to 50% and group savings of up to 20%. Tickets for A Christmas Carol are on sale now.
