Seats for It’s A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play at the Broadhurst Theatre are $49 each, fees included, through a digital lottery, a digital rush and an in-person rush. Previews begin on Wednesday, November 4.
All three run through Telecharge, and each is limited to two tickets per person. The terms below are the ones the production publishes on its official site.
Digital lottery. Entry opens at midnight the day before each performance and closes at 3 p.m. that day, at Rush.Telecharge.com. Winners are drawn at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., are told by email, and have five hours to claim and pay online by credit card. Seats can be anywhere in the house, and a pair is not guaranteed to sit together. Tickets arrive by email. For the first preview on November 4, entries open at midnight on November 3.
Digital rush. Released from 11 a.m. on the day of the performance, also at Rush.Telecharge.com, paid by credit card and emailed. Locations vary and availability changes daily.
In-person rush. Sold at the Broadhurst box office, 235 West 44th Street, from the moment it opens on the day of the performance, for cash or card. From November 4 the box office is open Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m.
Andrew Rannells, Megan Hilty, Tituss Burgess, Harry Hamlin and Lisa Rinna lead the cast of Joe Landry’s adaptation, directed by Jerry Zaks, in which a company of actors performs the Bedford Falls story as a 1940s radio broadcast, live sound effects included. We covered the casting announcement and the completed company earlier.
The engagement is nine weeks long: opening night is Wednesday, November 18, and the final performance is Sunday, January 3, 2027. The show runs about 90 minutes with no intermission, and children under 4 are not admitted. For more information, visit the official website.
