Abingdon Theatre Company sets its 34th anniversary gala lineup, with Vanessa Williams as special guest

Abingdon Theatre Company 34th Anniversary Gala artwork, Ever Forward, Ever Evolving Abingdon Theatre Company has named the performers for its 34th anniversary gala on Monday, November 2, 2026, at the Edison Ballroom, where it will honor Sandy Duncan, Michael Urie and longtime board member John Gasdaska. Vanessa Williams joins the lineup as special guest.

The concert, Ever Forward, Ever Evolving: 34 Years of Breaking Boundaries, brings together Maria Bilbao (Sweeney Todd), Hannah Cruz (Chess), Jacob Dickey (Stephen Sondheim’s Old Friends), Kyle Freeman (Titanique), Aisha Jackson (The Great Gatsby), Blaine Krauss (Hamilton), Meecah (Hamilton), Samantha Pauly (The Great Gatsby), Shereen Pimentel (West Side Story), Carolina Rial (NBC’s The Voice), Jenna Lea Rosen (Suffs), Analise Scarpaci (Mrs. Doubtfire), Nyla Sostre (MJ: The Musical), Alyssa Wray (ABC’s American Idol) and Curtis Wiley (Ain’t Too Proud). Williams’s credits include the West End’s The Devil Wears Prada.

Duncan is a three-time Tony nominee whose credits include Peter Pan. Urie, a two-time Emmy nominee, is known for Apple TV+’s Shrinking and for Oh, Mary!.

The evening at the Edison Ballroom, 240 West 47th Street, starts with a cocktail hour at 6pm, followed by an auction and dinner at 7pm and the performance from 8pm to 10pm. Tickets and tables are on sale through Abingdon Theatre Company.
