Traitorz: The Unauthorized Musical Parody, a send-up of the reality series The Traitors with book and lyrics by Tim Murray and music by Ben Fankhauser, begins performances at St. Luke’s Theatre on November 4, 2026, ahead of an opening night on November 13.
The format is lifted from the reality competition and the contestants are famous, or at least a company of impressionists doing famous people. At every performance, members of the audience are brought onstage to play alongside them, and each has to find out whether they are a Traitor or a Faithful.
The celebrity lineup includes Jennifer Coolidge, Britney Spears, Ozzy Osbourne, Liza Minnelli, Morgan Freeman and Patti LuPone, with Jesus of Nazareth also in the running. Presiding over the game is Alan Cumming, played by Dylan Adler.
Adler is a stand-up, actor, writer and musician who works between New York and Los Angeles. He wrote for The Late Late Show with James Corden, where he also did stand-up and turned up as a sports correspondent, has performed stand-up on Comedy Central, and co-composed the Off-Broadway musical Good Morning New York.
Murray, who co-directs with Alan Kliffer, is a touring stand-up whose show Tim Murray Is Witches played numerous sold-out performances at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and won Best Musical Show. He was in the original Off-Broadway cast of 50 Shades! The Musical, and served as a creative consultant on the 2025 and 2026 Tony Awards broadcasts, writing material for P!nk and Cynthia Erivo. Fankhauser originated Davey in Disney’s Newsies on Broadway and wrote A Commercial Jingle for Regina Comet with Alex Wyse, which premiered at the Daryl Roth Theatre in 2022.
Kliffer has spent more than 20 years in comedy. He ran Asylum NYC for five years, helping launch Titaníque there, and was the first artistic director of The Second City New York. Parody is familiar ground: his current productions include Heated Rivalry: The Unauthorized Musical Parody.
The creative team is Kyle Branzel (music direction, arrangements and orchestrations), Alex Hartman (choreography), Riw Rakkulchon (scenic design), Kindall Almond (costume and wig design), Zack Lobel (lighting design) and Germán Martínez (sound design). Rafaella Rosenberg produces, in partnership with Ramble. The show is billed as an unauthorized parody and is not affiliated with NBC Universal.
St. Luke’s Theatre is at 308 West 46th Street. Tickets start at $39 through the production’s own website, traitorzmusical.com.
