The Lost Boys has opened a new block of tickets at the Palace Theatre, with Broadway performances now on sale through Saturday, July 3, 2027.
The extension takes The Lost Boys well into next summer. Producers Marcus Chait, James Carpinello and Patrick Wilson announced the new on-sale on October 6, a little over five months after the musical opened at the Palace on Sunday, April 26, 2026.
No new musical won more Tony Awards last season. It took four: featured performance honors for Shoshana Bean and Ali Louis Bourzgui, Best Scenic Design of a Musical for Dane Laffrey, and Best Lighting Design of a Musical for Michael Arden and Jen Schriever. Laffrey and the lighting team repeated at the Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards, and LJ Benet received a Theatre World Award.
Adapted from the 1987 Warner Bros. film, the show follows brothers Michael and Sam, who move to the California beach town of Santa Carla with their mother, Lucy. Michael falls in with David and his rock band, and their secret turns out to be a dangerous one.
Arden also directs, from a book by David Hornsby and Chris Hoch, with music and lyrics by The Rescues (Kyler England, AG and Gabriel Mann). Lauren Yalango-Grant and Christopher Cree Grant handle the choreography, aerial sequences included, and Ethan Popp is music supervisor.
Benet, Bean and Bourzgui head the company alongside Benjamin Pajak, Maria Wirries, Paul Alexander Nolan, Jennifer Duka, Miguel Gil, Brian Flores, Sean Grandillo and Dean Maupin.
The original Broadway cast album, already streaming, comes out from Atlantic Records on CD and on black and red double vinyl on October 30. A North American tour opens at Playhouse Square in Cleveland in spring 2028, with more cities still to be announced. A London production is also planned, though no theater or dates have been named.
Tickets for The Lost Boys at the Palace Theatre are on sale now through July 3, 2027.
