Human Things has extended its Off-Broadway run at the West End Theatre by 12 days. The limited engagement, starring Victoria Clark, now plays through October 30 instead of closing on October 18.
Clark, a two-time Tony Award winner whose Broadway credits include Kimberly Akimbo, leads a company of four with Michael Mulheren, Rebeca Robles and Ben Rosenfield.
The play is by Joshua Owen and is directed by Rory McGregor. Its setting is a remote atoll in the South Pacific, where Margaret is studying a shrinking population of migratory birds and her partner Greg is less certain what he is there for. Two strangers, Bo and Darce, wash up after wrecking their boat on the reef, and a storm follows them in.
Performances began September 12, and the production opened on September 25. The critics' verdicts are collected in our review roundup for Human Things.
The design team is Jacob Bers (set), Amanda Roberge (costumes), Reza Behjat (lighting), Ian Scot (sound) and Thomas Jenkeleit (props), with casting by Rori Bergman and Karlee Fomalont. Tyler Larson is production stage manager.
The West End Theatre is at 263 West 86th Street. Tickets for Human Things are on sale now.
