Nick Adams is Dracula in Telly Leung’s staging of Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors at Theatre Raleigh

The production plays the De Ann S. Jones Theatre at the Theatre Raleigh Arts Center. Gordon Greenberg and Steve Rosen’s comedy, which ran Off-Broadway in 2023, sends up Bram Stoker’s novel with a small company covering a long list of characters through quick changes.

Alongside Adams, Joe Moeller plays Jonathan Harker and others, Nat M. Sherwood plays Dr. Westfeldt and others, Mallorie Sievert plays Lucy Westfeldt and others, and Zach Kononov plays Mina, Dr. Van Helsing and others. The standbys are Ali Evarts, Andrew Goins and Chandler Vance.

Leung, whose Broadway credits include Allegiance and Aladdin, leads a creative team of Seth Howard (scenic design), Sam Terrell (lighting), Victoria Deiorio (sound design and original music), Tristan Raines (costumes), Liz Printz (wigs and hair) and Elizabeth Newton (props). Allison Hopfer is production stage manager.
