Cree-Silver Corley takes over as Little Michael in MJ at the Neil Simon Theatre from tonight, Tuesday, October 6, making his Broadway debut.
Corley, 10, is from Queens. He succeeds Jackson Robert Vann in the role and also understudies Little Marlon. His earlier credits include Gavroche in the national tour of Les Misérables, along with Sesame Street and film work.
Producers Lia Vollack and John Branca announced the casting today. The production currently stars Ilario Grant.
MJ, the Tony Award-winning musical, began performances in December 2021. It has broken the Neil Simon Theatre box-office record 11 times and has played to more than 2 million theatergoers on Broadway and over 8 million worldwide. A German production is running at the Stage Theater in Hamburg, led by Benét Monteiro, with tours of Asia and the UK to follow.
