New York City Ballet principal Tiler Peck will moderate a post-show talkback with Reece Weaver, Broadway’s current Roxie Hart, after the 7pm performance of Chicago at the Ambassador Theatre on Tuesday, October 13.
The conversation begins once the curtain is down, and it is open to every audience member holding a ticket for that Tuesday evening performance, who is invited to stay in the house for it.
Weaver arrived at Roxie by way of professional dance rather than musical theater. She took a dance degree at the University of Alabama, performing with its dance team, and then spent three seasons with the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders after joining the 2023 rookie class – the squad that Netflix’s America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders put in front of a national audience. Her engagement in the role, extended last month, now runs through Sunday, November 1.
Peck has been a principal dancer at New York City Ballet since 2009 and is now also the company’s first Choreographic Associate, though her Broadway credits go back further than either: she made her debut at 11 in The Music Man and later starred in the Tony-nominated revival of On the Town. She created the title role in Susan Stroman’s Little Dancer, and the evening she programs, Turn It Out with Tiler Peck & Friends, grew out of the Artists at the Center series she directed for New York City Center before earning an Olivier Award nomination and two National Dance Awards in the UK. Her PBS Great Performances documentary, Tiler Peck: Suspending Time, won an Emmy.
Little Dancer is also bound for London: the musical opens at the Theatre Royal Haymarket on February 15, 2027, with Peck making her West End debut, and the London run is currently booking through March 27, 2027.
Chicago, now the longest-running American musical in Broadway history, plays the Ambassador Theatre at 219 West 49th Street on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7pm, Fridays at 8pm, Saturdays at 2:30pm and 8pm, and Sundays at 2pm and 7pm. Tickets are sold at the theater’s box office and through ChicagoTheMusical.com.
