On the Town opens a five-year series of classic American musicals in concert, which the Orchestra of St. Luke’s and Carnegie Hall announced in June, with Berman as series music director. The 1944 show was Bernstein’s first Broadway musical, written with Betty Comden and Adolph Green, who supplied the book and lyrics. The score includes New York, New York, Come Up to My Place and Some Other Time.

Both performances begin at 7 p.m. in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage, on Monday, January 11, and Tuesday, January 12, 2027. Tickets are sold through Carnegie Hall.
