The Falsettos 10th anniversary reunion concert has added a third and final New York date: Monday, February 8, 2027, at 7pm at Carnegie Hall. The presale opens October 14 at 11am ET, and general sale follows on October 16.
Both earlier dates are gone. The reunion was planned as a single benefit performance on October 18, 2026, which sold out in under two hours; a second concert on November 2 went even faster. The new night is in the Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage, and part of its proceeds will go to The TDF Wendy Wasserstein Project.
The principal company of the 2016 Broadway revival is back: Stephanie J. Block, Christian Borle, Andrew Rannells, Tracie Thoms, Brandon Uranowitz and Betsy Wolfe. Block, Borle and Uranowitz are Tony winners, Rannells and Wolfe are Tony nominees, and Thoms is an Emmy nominee.
Tony nominee Ellenore Scott, who was assistant choreographer on the 2016 production, directs and choreographs again. Vadim Feichtner is music director and conductor, leading a band drawn mostly from the revival’s original musicians.
“Falsettos found all of us at such a pivotal moment, and we’ve had the extraordinary privilege of watching one another grow, as artists and as friends in the decade since,” Wolfe said. “Ten years later, it turns out there’s still more of this story for us to tell.”
From New York the company travels to London for three performances at the London Palladium on February 23 and 24, 2027. Details of the London engagement are on Best of Theatre.
The concerts are presented by Betsy Wolfe, Colleen Cook and Cynthia Rose for Table for Three Productions, with Darren Bell Productions and QUBE Theatricals joining for London.
The musical, by William Finn and James Lapine, was first produced as Falsettoland in 1990. It follows Marvin, his lover Whizzer, his wife Trina and the family around them from the early ’80s into the first years of the AIDS crisis. The revival opened at the Walter Kerr Theatre on October 27, 2016, earned five Tony nominations including Best Revival, and was filmed for PBS’s Live from Lincoln Center.
