The company is new for the 2026-27 season. Gabby Samone, a finalist on Season 23 of American Idol, plays Dorothy, and Asher HaVon, who won Season 25 of The Voice, is the Lion. Toni Lorene Baker, a contestant on Season 28 of the same show, plays Glinda. Jose E. Figueroa Jr. is the Scarecrow, Jaelen Spellman the Tinman and Bryan DeMond the Wiz, while April Renee Moye doubles as Aunt Em and Evillene.

Springfield got the tour first for a reason: the Clark State Performing Arts Center hosted the production’s technical rehearsals and its promotional photo shoot before the opening performance, which was a one-night-only date.

The West Coast leg takes in the Orpheum in San Francisco, December 4–6, and the McCallum Theatre in Palm Desert, California, December 8–13. In 2027 the tour plays the Colonial in Boston, January 22–24, the Fisher Theatre in Detroit, March 16–21, and crosses the border for Showplace Centroplex in Monterrey, Mexico, April 8–11, before a four-day stand at ATTPAC in Dallas, June 10–13. The website notes that more cities for the season are still to be announced.
