Cherry Lane Theatre has extended both halves of its fall double bill. School Pictures and Two Girls now run through November 29 at the West Village house, three weeks past the November 8 close first announced.
The two one-hour shows share the stage most evenings but are sold separately. School Pictures generally plays at 7pm, and Two Girls follows at 9pm. On several November weekends Two Girls adds a 3pm matinee, and on the first two Sundays of the month both shift earlier, to 3pm and 6pm.
School Pictures is written and performed by Milo Cramer, whose earlier work includes Cute Activist and Minor Character, and directed by Morgan Green. It is a musical diary of New York City's school system, built around students such as Faith, who hates reading, and Javier, who sees no point in studying because of climate change. The piece returns after a sold-out run at Playwrights Horizons.
Two Girls, written by Eliya Smith with the ensemble The Goat Exchange and developed by Cherry Lane, uses verbatim dialogue to look again at one of the 2000s' most notorious viral videos and at why audiences could not stop watching it. Chloe Claudel and Juliana Sass perform it, and Claudel co-directs with Mitchell Polonsky. The theater recommends it for ages 18 and up.

Both titles already appear in our guide to Broadway and Off-Broadway shows closing soon, which carries the new date. Cherry Lane Theatre is at 38 Commerce Street.
Tickets for School Pictures and Two Girls are on sale now.
