Two Korean sleight-of-hand specialists will take turns as the special guest in Now You See Me Live at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre: Eden Choi from November 11 to 29, then Yollin Lee from December 1 until the limited run ends on January 3.
Choi plays the first three weeks of the engagement only. A manipulation specialist whose act is built around music and tight rhythm, Choi reached the semi-finals of Britain’s Got Talent in 2025 and took second place in Manipulation at the 2022 FISM World Championship. Also in 2025, Choi earned the Golden Buzzer on France’s Got Talent on the way to a top-three finish, and won a Male Performer Award at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe for the solo show Proust Effect.
Lee takes over on December 1 and stays through closing night. The Magic Circle named Lee its 2024 Stage Magician of the Year in Manipulation. Earlier honors include second prize at the 2021 Korea International Magic Championship and three trophies at the 2022 IBM British Magic Championship. In 2023 Lee was crowned champion at Spain’s National Magic Convention and played a sold-out run at the Edinburgh Fringe.
Both guests share the stage with the four illusionists cast as the Four Horsemen, the heist crew at the center of Lionsgate’s film series: escapologist Gabriella Lester (South Africa), illusionist James More (England), illusionist Darcy Oake (Canada) and mentalist Matthew Pomeroy (England).
Performances run from Wednesday, November 11 through Sunday, January 3, eight weeks in all, at the Hirschfeld, 302 W. 45th Street. New York follows engagements in Australia, Singapore and London, where the show played the London Coliseum until September 6. A Las Vegas engagement at the MGM Grand Theater inside the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino begins on October 15, and the producers say more tour stops are still to be announced.
The production is presented by Tim Lawson and Simon Painter, the creators of The Illusionists, in collaboration with Lionsgate. Painter is creator and creative producer, with Adam Trent as co-creator. Ash Jacks McCready is creative and staging director, Kirsty White creative director and Enzo Wenye illusion director. Lighting is by Hugo Mercier-Bosseny and music by Evan Duffy. Jenefer Brown, Lionsgate’s President of Global Products & Experiences, is creative consultant.
Tickets are on sale through the production’s official website, NowYouSeeMeLive.com.
