DOLLY completes its Broadway cast with Crystal Kellogg as Judy Ogle, and opens its box office with $9.25 seats for the first 100 in line

Crystal Kellogg, who plays Judy Ogle in DOLLY: A True Original Musical on Broadway Crystal Kellogg will play Judy Ogle, Dolly Parton’s best friend since the third grade, in DOLLY: A True Original Musical, completing the principal cast for its Broadway premiere at the St. James Theatre. The full ensemble is also set, and the box office opens in person on Monday, November 9 at 10 a.m. ET, when the first 100 people in line can buy two tickets at $9.25 each.

Kellogg joins the five principals announced on October 2: Katie Rose Clarke as Dolly Parton, Carrie St. Louis as Dolly, Norah Nunes as Little Dolly, John Behlmann as Carl Dean and Gabriel Ebert as Porter Wagoner.

Kellogg most recently played Anne Hathaway on the national tour of & Juliet. Her earlier Broadway credits are Finding Neverland and School of Rock, and she has toured with Finding Neverland, Kinky Boots and The Pajama Game.

The ensemble is Piper Allen, Bill Army, Josh Canfield, Lincoln Cohen, Ryan Demoville, Haley Fish, Sarah Hunt, Erin Kei, Evan Kinnane, Ryland J. Mar, Jenny Mollet, James Moye, Julian Ramos, Larkin Reilly, Maddie Robert, Alex Ross and Quinn VanAntwerp. The swings are Sarah Bockel, Sadie Daniels, Tiffany Engen, Michael Milkanin and Rixey Terry. Several, including Canfield, Hunt, Moye, Robert, Demoville and Bockel, come with the show from its Nashville premiere.

Box office opening: $9.25 tickets for the first 100

The St. James Theatre box office opens on Monday, November 9 at 10 a.m. ET. The first 100 people in line may buy two tickets at $9.25 each for select performances between January and May 2027. The offer is available only in person at the box office. Everyone who turns up that morning also gets a free cup of Dolly’s new Cup of Ambition coffee.

Dates and tickets

Previews begin Monday, December 7, and are already on public sale. Opening night is Tuesday, January 19, 2027, which would have been Parton’s 81st birthday. The musical plays only at the St. James Theatre, 246 West 44th Street, and the current booking period runs through Sunday, November 21, 2027. Tickets are sold through the production’s website, dollymusical.com. The producers advise that the show may be inappropriate for ages 8 and under.

The creative team

The score is Parton’s: hits including I Will Always Love You, Jolene, Coat of Many Colors and 9 to 5, alongside new songs she wrote for the musical. The book is by Parton and Maria S. Schlatter, and Bartlett Sher directs.

The music team is Stephen Oremus (music supervisor), Charity Wicks (music director), John Clancy (orchestrations) and Kent Wells (musical consultant), with arrangements by Richard Dennison and Gregg Perry, both longtime Parton collaborators. Choreography is by Mandy Moore, scenic design by Derek McLane, costumes by Jennifer Moeller, lighting by Donald Holder, sound by Peter Hylenski and video by Nathan Amzi and Joe Ransom. Robert Pickens designs the hair and Studio Pickens the makeup. Michael J. Passaro is production stage manager, and casting is by Jim Carnahan and Carrie Gardner.

The musical premiered last summer in Nashville, Parton’s hometown, at the Fisher Center for the Performing Arts at Belmont University, where the sold-out run became the most successful production in the venue’s history. It is produced by Parton, Danny Nozell, Adam Speers for ATG Productions and Gavin Kalin Productions, and the Broadway engagement is presented by the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development. 101 Productions, Ltd./Marshall B.
